The Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA) was signed into law in July 2023, but it did not take effect until now. The new law is the result of the efforts of the Attorney General’s Consumer Privacy Task Force, a group of over 150 experts and stakeholders.

PHILIPPINES: DPA WARNS COMPANIES NOT COMPLYING WITH DATA PRIVACY ACT
The National Privacy Commission (NPC) issued a press release to “sternly” warn businesses processing personal information that it will issue show cause orders in the case of non-compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA) and relevant NPC issuances.
